A peripheral-only (HRV/EDA) sub-model — trained exclusively on synthetic data, never shown a single real sample — evaluated zero-shot against real physiological windows from real subjects (WESAD, a public dataset used here for validation only — see README.md for why it's not training data). Covers 2 of MeloMend's 4 states (calm, distressed only).
